May Wrap-Up

Did anyone else slay their reading goal for this month? My goal for the year says I should be reading three books a month, but I read a whopping eight books in May! Which really means I should be raising my reading goal, but I don’t think I’m quite ready to do that yet. This month I feel lukewarm about almost every book, with the exceptions being The Song of Achilles, which I loved, and The Guy Not Taken, which was excruciating (and not in a good way). Here’s hoping that I love more of my books in June.

[Quick note: I’ve been trying to review almost every book I read, so I can improve and learn about the format. I know that no one wants to read reviews of books that have been around for a while, but I need the practice if I’m ever going to review new releases!]
